Forrest Yoga with Anna

Classes are free, and are held on Wednesdays at 8:00 AM at the Chicago Center for Psychophysical Healing (CCPH).

Anna Schabold is an experienced and accomplished yogi, and a graduate of the Forrest Yoga Foundation training, Advanced Training and Mentorship Program. She’s been teaching extensively in the greater Chicagoland area since 2009, and has led several yoga retreats at Glastonbury Institute of Sustainable Living. She believes that yoga is for every body, and it is her intention to help you feel more comfortable on your yoga mat and ease any worries you may have about how much you don’t know about the poses, how inflexible or weak your think you are, or any anxiety about the way your body looks. Anna would love to share the tools she’s learned on the mat with you and guide you along your journey to being radically yourself.

About Forrest Yoga:

Forrest Yoga is a modern style created by American yogi Ana Forrest, adapted from traditional Hatha styles to suit the needs of society today. The practice features an emphasis on deep breath, abdominal work and longer holds in the poses to generate heat and heighten the senses, and connecting to one’s feelings in order to work through physical and emotional healing.
